Make some money for Christmas
To coincide with the Ironbridge Gorge Heritage Festival weekend Coalport Village Hall is the venue for a car-boot / table-top sale on Sunday 26th September 2010. Anyone in the Gorge is eligible to book a pitch but Coalport residents will have first refusal.
The cost of a pitch (whether car-boot or table-top) is the same, a mere £3. Because we have limitedavailability this must be paid before the end of August. The sale will start at 10am and run until about 3pm.

Wanted: Brainy People
(Actually you don't need to be brainy - but a good general knowledge would help)
The Community Council of Shropshire hold an annual Village Hall Quiz Competition and this year Coalport Village Hall wants to enter a team. The quizzes are held at various local village halls, always on a Friday night and generally the 2nd Friday of the month. The competition starts on 15th October 2010 and ends on 8th April 2011.
